NOTICE - Leisure Pool closed from 6:00pm on 9/6 through 7:00am on 9/11.
The Whitewater Aquatic & Fitness Center will be closing the Leisure Pool at 6:00pm on Monday, September 6th and plan to reopen on Saturday, September 11th at 7:00am. Please watch the website for any adjustments we may have to make on the completion of this project.
The Leisure Pool needs to be drained in order to make federally mandated changes to our facility in compliance with the Virginia Graeme Baker Pool and Spa Safety Act (details below).
The Virginia Graeme Baker Pool and Spa Safety Act was enacted by Congress and signed by President Bush on December 19, 2007. Designed to prevent the tragic and hidden hazard of drain entrapments and eviscerations in pools and spas, the law became effective on December 19, 2008. Under the law, all public pools and spas must have ASME/ANSI A112.19.8-2007 compliant drain covers installed and a second anti-entrapment system installed, when there is a single main drain other than an unblockable drain.

NOTICE - High School Girls Swim
The Whitewater High School Girls Swim Team will be using 6 lanes in the Lap Pool from 3:15 - 6:00pm, Monday through Friday starting August 10, 2010. Two lanes will continue to be available for lap swim during this time.
The Girls Swim Team will also be using 3 lanes in the Lap Pool from 8-9:30am on Tuesday and Thursdays through Tuesday, August 31, 2010 and from 5:45-7:15am September 7th through October 28th.
